Ratnavedi Trimurti: The Sacred Sanctum of Puri
Description
At the center of the composition, Lord Balabhadra (rendered in luminous white), Devi Subhadra (in warm golden yellow), and Lord Jagannath (in deep obsidian black) are enthroned upon the lotus-embossed jeweled platform (Ratnavedi). Each deity features iconic large, expressive circular eyes, elaborate tiered crowns (mukutas), and fine hand-painted garments laden with delicate dotwork. Lord Balabhadra and Lord Jagannath hold sacred attributes, flanked by the pillar of Sudarshana Chakra standing on the right.
