The Sacred Roots of Olashingh

Deep within the historic village of Olashingh (Jankia, Khordha), art is not merely chosen; it is inherited. Every masterpiece at RRiBhu Atelier begins here, born from an unbroken lineage of artistic devotion and master craftsmanship that spans generations.

Our foundation is built upon a lifetime of dedication. Growing up in an intensely creative environment, master artist Brajeswar Pattnaik has been completely devoted to the traditional art of painting since his earliest childhood days.

Brajeswar Pattnaik

The Inheritance

Immersed in his father's teachings, he mastered complex layouts and palm leaf etching by age 16, carrying the legacy forward.

Where Heritage Meets Couture

Brajeswar brings a brilliant modern interpretation to the craft, moving Pattachitra beyond static walls into a living, wearable canvas. By hand-painting directly onto silk sarees, kurtis, and shirts, RRiBhu Atelier keeps traditional storytelling alive for a global audience.

Utilizing highly durable fabric colors specifically suited for premium textiles, each wearable masterpiece is designed to stand the test of time while celebrating rich mythological narratives.

The Midnight Atelier

True art requires a quiet mind and immense discipline. Every single day, the most profound creations at RRiBhu Atelier come to life in the stillness of the night, during Brajeswar’s dedicated working hours from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Standing steadfastly beside him is his wife, Sruti Das. As an accomplished artist herself, she works hand-in-hand with him, blending their shared devotion into every stroke of the brush.
